Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread of your choice for each jaffle. This recipe features a thick slice coconut and cranberry bread from Tip Top bakeries! I would highly recommend you trying a sweet loaf like this or even a yummy raisin toast.
  • Peanut butter.
  • Strawberry Jam. Can be substituted for your favourite type of jam!
  • Butter.

How to make Toasted Peanut Butter And Jelly Jaffles

For this recipe I am using my Sunbeam Big Fill Jaffle maker.

1.) Preheat your jaffle maker.

2.) Butter both outer layers of the bread and place butter side down onto the jaffle maker hot plates.

3.) Spread a good helping of peanut butter on one slice of bread and strawberry jam onto the other slice.

4.) Complete the sandwich by placing one slice on top of the other with the butter side facing up. Close the jaffle maker and allow to toast for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Beware as the jam basically turns into molten lava and they will be very hot!

Enjoy

These Toasted Peanut Butter And Jelly Jaffles are the ultimate comfort food when you’re looking for a tasty snack to warm you up on a cold winters night! The combination of peanut butter and jam is enough to get your mouth watering especially when sandwiched in-between a delicious sweet style bread like a coconut and cranberry slice.
